Fruits on a Tree

I have moved to Italy, now living in Florence since almost two months.
What a beautiful city, and what a blue sky almost every day - a welcome change from the grey autumn of the northern Europe!

Another welcome change is my working environment; from working in a typical city office building, I now work in a building that used to be an old monastery - in fact monks still live in the main part of the building. You will surely hear more about this place in my later blogs, but today I want to share with you the lovely fruit trees around the monastery. Some of the fruit had not been harvested from the trees before the leaves dropped, which created these beautiful bare branches with bright orange fruit. Against the blue sky, it gives a very interesting contrast.
