Meyer's Food Hall in NYC

Beginning of this year, a new food hall opened in Grand Central. Claus Meyer of Denmark is behind this interesting idea; he serves Scandinavian food of different styles - exactly as I know it from Denmark. You can get bread, hot-dogs, porridge, open sandwiches as well as more up-scaled food in the restaurant.

A visit to this small Danish square in the middle of Manhattan was of course obligatory to me last I was in New York. I did not get disappointed in the food - now I know where to get the Danish flavours in the city.

A surprise awaited me there, as I did not expect the design of the place. There were Nordic knitting patterns everywhere! The tile decorations are practically knitting patterns you can knit on the spot. Love it!
